Perfect metaphors.
I’m scared of not reaching the other side of things that need to be leapt over, even with a friend waiting open armed on the other side to catch me. He’s scared of wide open spaces. I found my way across via a fallen tree bridge, less fearful of surfaces breaking beneath my feet. We were in thicket of trees leading to a cemetery, no open spaces. I saw him fly.

Death in life.
Last night at home, listening to Vashti, drifting in and out of sleep, being conscious of my breath, trying to calm my adrenaline, seeking solutions, resolutions, my mind and body went somewhere else for a few seconds: to my future death bed where I felt myself die, with a jolt, my heart stopping for a second and my mind going blank.
